About the work

Feminine silhouette that explore the magical and imaginary. Using a palette of six magenta tones, a colour that holds much significance for me. Finishing details are hand-embroided into canvas.
 

Exhibited as part of my solo exhibition "Altar, Beautifying Understanding" @ Ashburton Art Gallery.
